Beginning with the merger of McKesson Employees FCU and Western Healthcare FCU over a year ago, your credit union has strived to bring you the absolute best in financial products and services. In 2021 we brought the two healthcare families together, and last fall we upgraded our core system so that all members could take advantage of the latest technology and convenience.
It's been a rewarding journey to blend these institutions together, but we're not done yet—we have some exciting news for you!
We'd like to formally announce these financial institutions will now be known as McKesson & Healthcare Providers Federal Credit Union.
As a unified brand, we are better together and able to serve the growing needs of the healthcare industry employees and their families, whether its those at John Muir Health here in the Bay Area, or members at one of the many McKesson locations and subsidiaries across the country.
Great care was taken in selecting a new name. It was a process that involved our President and CEO, Board of Directors and staff. We desired to create a name that would better reflect who we are and who we serve. As a result, the name change will help us expand, grow, and achieve more as a unified financial institution.
Over the coming months, you'll see many exciting changes to our credit union, including a new corporate logo and brand, new signage as well as a new website.
